Worry no more, LinkedIn Fam, as the latest audio feature will ease your stress of mistakes in your name pronunciation.

LinkedIn’s new feature allows you to record audio to help those who might find it difficult to pronounce your first and the last name. It’s a relief for many as this will allow them to address their connections correctly making good first impressions.

All thanks to Joseph Akoni, Product manager at LinkedIn who has been working on this latest audio features since last year. Audio clip within 10 seconds can be updated using LinkedIn’s mobile app on Android and iOS. Moreover, the playback option will be accessible on both the mobile app and the Desktop.

Let’s check out the simple process to set up the name pronunciation feature.

1. Open the LinkedIn App on your mobile
2. Tap on View Profile and then the Edit icon
3. Tap on the Record Name Pronunciation option
4. Tap the recording button and hold to record
5. Check if the audio is clear (avoid background noise)
6. Tap the use button if you are happy with the clip
7. Tap Save and you have successfully set up your name (audio).
8. Check on Desktop site an audio icon will be next to your name
9. You have the option to delete and record a new one as well

Tips to Remember:

1. Record within 10 seconds
2. Avoid places that have too much noise
3. The phone should be four inches from the mouth
4. Speak slowly for better result
5. Make sure to stress on each syllable clearly
6. You can limit who can listen to your name (First Degree connections Only or All LinkedIn Members)

"You were not there when I needed you the most, she replied." You left me amidst those strangers, who thought I was invisible with some way of supernatural power. There was no one, I could think of that time other than you.

How could you let this happen? 'You left me to worry? ', how could you? You were the one, with whom I could tear my heart out. You were my soulmate, my companion who promised me to stay by my side, till death kept us apart.

One day, when the rain was pouring, you were so excited that you gave me a love headache. You were so engrossed to learn how I felt about the rain, love and happiness. We have lost one of our most loved person of the Bollywood industry. You will be missed dearly, Sridevi ma’am. It was a shocking morning for all of us. The sad news was spread like wildfire and the Internet was gloomy on her sudden demise. Loved ones, film fraternity and the dear fans of Sridevi have shown condolences and their heartfelt sadness on her sudden demise through various media such as tweets, Facebook updates and through various other ways. We will remember her for so many reasons; cute, bubbly persona and for her brilliant acting. She was last seen in MOM where she has been praised for her superb acting. Many people will remember for her various roles which might include her dual role in Chaalbaaz, Mr. India and English Vinglish, Naagin and many more.






Let’s remember her through some of the famous songs that we have enjoyed over several decades:

1. The first song that instantly pops up is the ‘Naino mein Sapna from the movie Himmatwala’

2. Also most popularly known by the song ‘Hawaa Hawaii’ and till now we remember her as Hawaa Hawaii stunning actress.

3. 'Na Jaane kahan se aayi hai'- yet another brilliant song that till today rings inside our head.

4. 'Mere haatho mai nau nau chudiyaa hai'- A song that we hear during marriages and ladies sangeet. It is indeed a great pleasure to dance to such tune even these modern times.

5. 'Mai naagin tu sapera'- she is also remembered as the beautiful naagin and so many love her for this brilliant character portrayal.

We have lost yet another personality, a brilliant bright star and the most lovable person. It will be difficult to say what the family members are going through now but condolences to the family members. Rest in Peace ma'am, we love you forever!
